Family Fun

I am always on the lookout for cheap, family fun. Especially when summer time rolls around. Did you know that for a limited time, Knott's Berry Farm has annual passes for only 59.00. That is so cheap, and no black out days. Also, a lot of parks like Universal and Sea World have the buy a day and get a year free. You have to take advantage before the discounts expire. Kid Concepts in Torrance is another fun place to take your younger kids. It's about 10.00 per kid and if it's not crowded, they let them play for a longer time period. Mud Park "Adventure Park" in Huntington Beach is a place my boys love. Its only open in the warmer months but only cost 3.00 per child. You can bring a lunch and watch your kids raft on the water like Tom Sawyer, slide down a big mud hill, or build forts. There is a rope bridge and tire swing. Great summer fun for a low price. I have recently discovered Crystal Cove which is such a beautiful coastal area of Laguna. There are hiking trails, cottages for rent, tide pools to explore and more. The State park entrance fee is now 15.00 a day or the annual pass is 125.00. I bought the pass because Joey loves to surf and we have gone three times in the last two weeks. It's also a great spot for a photo shoot, any takers, I have the parking pass. If you have any great spots for families and want to share them, drop me and email or just post a comment. We would all love to hear about your family fun places.
